Some years ago, I registered this domain in the hope of producing a fully functional review site, but in those days, the coding needed to create a site with reviews on it that people could vote on, blah, blah, blah… Well, it was no wonder.

Then WordPress happened. It’s not a platform that would immediately spring to mind as anything but a blog, but then I didn’t know anything about it, or the fact that one could obtain ‘plugins’ to do just about anything one wants, code-wise, or the fact that the theme structure allows virtually instant re-design and further coding functionality (a ‘theme’ can do way more than just look good.

So, here is Practical Review, finally. I must say that it the less than twenty minutes it took to create the site, it’s a rather nice looking attempt. Thus is the power of technology.

However, the tech is one thing, but you didn’t come here to get all gooey-eyed over the design of a website, I’ll wager! No, what you came here for was to read and in some cases watch, honest, practical reviews of all sorts of software, business plans, books and just about anything really.

Now as I said, this isn’t some totally automated system, so expect these reviews to trickle, because I type with two fingers, one per hand…

Enjoy!
